* The ESL Program is offering EDUTL 6913: Thesis, Proposal, Dissertation Writing (class #30719) in Spring 2022 – This course is designed for non-native English speaking master’s and doctoral students who need assistance with the composing and writing stages of their thesis, proposal, or dissertation. The course consists of whole-class sessions that address general genre and rhetorical features of dissertations/proposals, as well as one-on-one tutorial sessions that address individual student needs with regard to revision of their work already in progress and/or the drafting of a new chapter or section. Needs identified by the student and addressed by the instructor may involve grammar, syntax, vocabulary issues, discourse or writing process concerns, effective use of sources and avoiding plagiarism. This course does not provide editing/proofreading services.

* Reserving Hitchcock Hall Conference Rooms: Please fill out a CEGE Space Request<https://ceg.osu.edu/resources/administrative-services/conference-room-use-and-policy> form
* Reserving Bolz Hall Conference Rooms: The Bolz Hall conference rooms on the 4th floor are now able to be reserved. These include the Undergraduate Conference Room (BO 426) and the Graduate Conference Room (BO 432). Please follow the instructions for how to reserve:
* Option 1 (Preferred)
* Open Outlook and look for the appropriate calendar for your request:
* +ENG BO 426 Undergraduate Conference Room
* +ENG BO 432 Graduate Conference Room
* Verify that the date and time you are requesting is available
* Create a calendar invite for the date and time of your reservation, and invite the corresponding room
* Our staff will review the request and either approve it, or contact you with alternative options. Please allow at least 2-3 business days to accommodate your request
* You can view the availability of the room through Outlook, and a calendar will be posted outside each space
* Option 2
* Email the student assistants (ENG-CEGE-Student-Advising at osu.edu<mailto:ENG-CEGE-Student-Advising at osu.edu>) with several options for dates and times
* They will schedule the room, and send you a calendar invite

The Graduate Associate Teaching Award is Ohio State’s highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students serving as Graduate Teaching Associates. Any Ohio State student (undergraduate, graduate, or professional), faculty, or staff member may nominate a GTA. Graduate students are also encouraged to nominate themselves.

The Child Care Access Means Parents in School Program, authorized by the Higher Education Act and administered by the U.S. Department of Education, supports the participation of low-income parents in postsecondary education through the provision of quality licensed, nationally accredited campus or community childcare services for children six weeks to 12 years old. CCAMPIS provides priority scheduling, evening childcare, life skills coaching, and referrals to university and community resources.
