  *   Reserving Hitchcock Hall Conference Rooms: Please fill out a CEGE Space Request<https://ceg.osu.edu/resources/administrative-services/conference-room-use-and-policy> form
  *   Reserving Bolz Hall Conference Rooms: The Bolz Hall conference rooms on the 4th floor are now able to be reserved.  These include the Undergraduate Conference Room (BO 426) and the Graduate Conference Room (BO 432).  Please follow the instructions for how to reserve:
     *   Option 1 (Preferred)
        *   Open Outlook and look for the appropriate calendar for your request:
           *   +ENG BO 426 Undergraduate Conference Room
           *   +ENG BO 432 Graduate Conference Room
        *   Verify that the date and time you are requesting is available
        *   Create a calendar invite for the date and time of your reservation, and invite the corresponding room
        *   Our staff will review the request and either approve it, or contact you with alternative options.  Please allow at least 2-3 business days to accommodate your request
        *   You can view the availability of the room through Outlook, and a calendar will be posted outside each space
     *   Option 2
        *   Email the student assistants (ENG-CEGE-Student-Advising at osu.edu<mailto:ENG-CEGE-Student-Advising at osu.edu>) with several options for dates and times
        *   They will schedule the room, and send you a calendar invite

  *   Tuesday, October 26, 11:00 am-12:30 pm – Zuzana Bohrerova will serve as a panelist in the Roundtable Discussion for Utilities on A Compendium of U.S. Wastewater Surveillance to Support COVID-19 Public Health Response (Zoom Registration<https://www.zoomgov.com/webinar/register/WN_1uRv9dlMRN-YlBmZL5yJyQ>) – EPA is hosting a roundtable discussion based on the compendium to better understand the role and needs of wastewater surveillance for utilities and underserved communities.  The discussion includes experts selected to represent a range of stakeholders.  Over the 90-minute facilitated meeting, panelists will discuss and provide input for three main topics: dissemination of information on wastewater surveillance to utility stakeholders; use of wastewater surveillance to provide targeted outreach to underserved communities; gaps and opportunities from the utility perspective.

EmPOWERment is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 academic year from current and prospective PhD students to the Ohio State University with an interest in sustainable energy.  Prospective and first-year PhD students who are accepted into EmPOWERment will be considered for a highly prestigious and competitive one-year fellowship opportunity funded by National Science Foundation that provides full funding to help support the trainee’s PhD studies and participation in the program during their second year in the program.

The Graduate Associate Teaching Award is Ohio State’s highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students serving as Graduate Teaching Associates.  Any Ohio State student (undergraduate, graduate, or professional), faculty, or staff member may nominate a GTA.  Graduate students are also encouraged to nominate themselves.
