🚩 General Updates

  *   UPDATE! Vaccination Eligibility - Ohioans 16* years of age and older are eligible to be vaccinated: https://wexnermedical.osu.edu/features/coronavirus/patient-care/covid-19-vaccine/vaccine-eligibility. According to information provided by the vaccination hotline (614-688-8299), Ohio State is not making distinctions for state of Ohio residents versus non-residents. Therefore, out-of-state and international students are eligible to be vaccinated if they fit the eligibility criteria.
     *   COVID-19 Vaccine Shuttle: Beginning April 5 at 7 a.m., the university will provide a shuttle to the Schottenstein Center for students, faculty and staff who have vaccine appointments. Operating hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. from Monday-Friday and 7 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday. Stops will be made every 10 minutes at the Schottenstein Center, Ohio Union and Blackburn House. Topics will include the reading, analysis, and development of manuscripts for publication in engineering journals, including practice in organizing and writing abstracts, introductions, methods, results, discussion, data commentary, and conclusions! You’ll learn best practices around problem definition and establishing research niche in a literature review, generating data and displaying it effectively, using and formatting citations appropriately, and preparing abstracts and manuscripts for submission to conferences and journals.

The SKY Happiness Retreat introduces SKY Breathing Meditation, an evidence-based meditation practice integrated with breath work that can significantly increase one's well-being and calmness, and significantly reduce anxiety and stress markers. The course features interactive group processes, experiential learning, emotional intelligence training, breath-work, yoga, and evidence-based meditation. It's one of the coolest places to connect with yourself, make awesome friends, and, most importantly, have fun!
