Dear Graduate Students,

Please see below for Summer Semester important dates (especially if you are graduating). If you have any questions please let me know!

Important Registration Dates:
These are the dates for the full-term Summer 2024 Semester. Please see:

May 7th: First day of classes for Summer Full Term, 8-week session 1, 6-week session 1, and 4-week session 1 courses.
May 10th: Last day for students to add courses using online registration into a full semester course without the instructor's written permission.
May 27th: Memorial Day - no classes, offices closed.
May 31st: Last day to drop a Summer full term course without receiving a "W."
May 31st: Last day to drop a full semester course using online registration.
June 19th: Junteenth National Independence Day. No classes, offices closed.
July 4th: Independence Day - no classes, offices closed.
July 12th: Last date to drop a Full Term Summer Course without petitioning.
July 26th: Last day of classes.
July 29th - July 31st: Final Exams.

Important Information:
If you are planning on graduating this semester please notify me as soon as possible so that we can set up a meeting to discuss the policies and procedures.
If you are a Ph.D. student who has already passed the Candidacy Exam, you are eligible to receive a Master's based upon the completion of the Candidacy Exam.  This can be done by going to gradforms.osu.edu and choosing the "MS" application and by checking the Candidacy box. No other information is needed and we do not need to set up a meeting.

**LEAVE for Students On Appointments (GRA, GTA, FELLOW)**
Must report Absences to Supervisor and report Absences that extend 3 days or longer to Supervisor, Academic Advisor and Graduate Program Coordinator.
