[Cbe-grads] Cold temperatures

Dear CBE Researchers,

We may get sub-zero temperatures (°F) in the next few days. As you may remember from last year, these cold temperatures can result in freezing pipes, which can then burst and cause floods.

Please check your lab areas periodically.  If you notice a leaking  pipe or flood or power outage, please call FOD  (see contact information below) immediately, and email me, Anthony McCoy and Lance Kearns.

When you talk to the dispatcher, make sure to explain that it is urgent and spread of flood or long-term power outage in a laboratory building can result in damages to instruments worth millions of dollars and destroy samples or specimens, which cannot be replaced.
