There's a notebook exercise and lab Zero Quiz (based on material from
the syllabus, the manual, the lab presentation this week) due before lab
next week.

You can reach these via Carmen (Lab Zero) or from the links in the table
on page 17 of the syllabus or the "Laboratory" link on my Chem 1250
web page.

https://uglabs.cbc.osu.edu/1250/pre-postlabs.php

Even if you go directly to the above link you should read the instructions
for this module on Carmen.

For the Notebook Exercise use a word processor (Word, not Notability).
There are two parts to this exercise, "Notebook Preps" (top half) and
"Recorded Data" (bottom half).

Submit this via Carmen. See instructions in the syllabus about submitting
digital reports on Carmen. There's also an instruction document on Carmen
as well in the "Laboratory" module, "Digital Lab Report Submission
Instructions". This document and the "Guide to Digital Lab Reports" tells
you what to do and how to upload your reports to Carmen. The document
MUST be a Word (.docx) file or an electronically generate PDF (.pdf) file
(do not scan the document).

Do not use Notability to prepare this Notebook Exercise or reports.

Take the quiz. Before you do, read the instructions and click on the
"Terms and conditions of use". Once you feel your answers are
complete click on the submit box and then the submit results button.
Once you submit you can't make corrections. You should receive an
e-mail if submitted correctly. The feedback you get right after
submitting is correct (worth 15 pts).
