exp 1 and manual

You have to have your notebook prepared for exp 1 the first week of class.
If you wait until lab you will need to prepare it then before starting 
the exp
and aren't likely to finish.  This will set you behind in lab which 
isn't a good
thing.  In order to prepare the notebook you need the lab manual.

I would imagine some of you may not be able to get the manual before lab 
next
week. You can find the exp 1 manual pages to Carmen. Go to "Modules".  Then
click on "Scientific Measurements".  At the top you'll see a box which 
contains
information about the exp.  There you will find at the top a link for 
the manual pages.

Make a note of this section.  All the exps have such a section which 
gives information
about what's required for each experiment.  There's also a copy of the 
rubric for what
should be in the lab report and how it is graded.

You will need to have the manual before the 2nd lab period (exp 2).

If you need notebook pages you will need to go to 230 CE and pick
them up there.  You will need a notebook before the second lab.
