Quiz 3 released this morning - Questions about scoring #1

I sent the following earlier today.  Someone had a question about where the points
were added in.  Question 1 had a couple of versions that had a mistake.  Don't try
figuring out what it was.

I did all the adjustments in Excel and the uploaded the file.  It uploads the quiz
total and doesn't change the score in Carmen for #1.  At the very bottom of the
quiz page you'll see "Fudge Points".  If you got points back for the question
you'll see 5 pts in this box. You'll see if you add up the points for the questions
and then add the 5 pts you get your new total score.

If you got #1 correct there won't be any "fudge points".

I hope this clears things up.

As stated in a previous e-mail there was an error in some of the versions of
question 1 on quiz 3.  I gave credit to everyone for that question and uploaded
the quiz scores into Carmen.  If you got the question right nothing changed.
If you got it wrong you got 5 pts.  You won't know when looking at your scores
which case you have.

Please, ignore question #1.  Look at the sample quiz I posted on my class
web page.  Question #1 is an integrated rate eqn (law) question asking for
conc. after some time given the rate law, rate constant and the initial conc.
