As a valued partner, I want to alert you as early as possible about 
scheduled maintenance downtimes so you can manage your assignments and 
tests around them.

Saturday, February 16, 2019, is the next date for a planned downtime. 
We’re updating several systems to improve stability and performance.


Here are details:


February 16, 2019

Start: Saturday, February 16, 2019, 1:00 a.m. ET

End: Saturday, February 16, 2019, 9:00 a.m. ET

    Revel: You and your students will be able to access your Revel
    courses, but will be unable to access any assignments that utilize
    assessments with multiple choice questions. If you or your students
    try to access these types of assignments you’ll receive an error
    message. You’ll also not be able to view assignment results. The
    Revel maintenance will be from 1:00 to 4:00 a.m. ET. It will not
    last the full eight hours.

    MyLab and Masteringincluding those integrated with Blackboard,
    Brightspace by D2L, Canvas, or Moodle: You and your students will be
    able to sign in to MyLab or Mastering, but will be unable to access
    your courses. The course create, update, register, and enroll
    functions will be available but will not process until the
    maintenance has concluded. Grade Sync functionality will be queued
    so no data will be lost.

    Standalone Pegasus-based MyLabs(humanities & social sciences, world
    languages, IT, and careers & nursing): You and your studentswill be
    able to access your MyLab courses, but may experience intermittent
    connectivity issues during the maintenance window.

    Pearson Learning Studio: You and your students will be unable to
    sign in to Learning Studio. You’ll see a splash page appear
    explaining the maintenance when you or your students attempt to sign in.

    MyLabsPlus: You and your students will be unable to log in to
    MyLabsPlus. You’ll see a splash page appear explaining the
    maintenance when you or your students attempt to sign in.

    Pearson Writer:You and your students will be unable to sign in to
    Pearson Writer. If you and your students try to access it through
    the website or through your Blackboard, Brightspace by D2L, Canvas,
    or Moodle, you’ll see a splash page notifying you of the maintenance
    being performed.

    MyEnglishLab: You and your students will be unable to sign in to
    MyEnglishLab. You’ll see a splash page appear explaining the
    maintenance when you or your students attempt to sign in.


We will post in-product messages 72 hours prior to the February 16th 
event. However, if you’ve integrated with Blackboard, Brightspace by 
D2L, Canvas, or Moodle students will not see these alerts, and we ask 
you to please relay this message to them.
