             My name is Matthew Sweitzer and I am a researcher with the 
School of Communication at Ohio State University. I am conducting a paid 
study this summer that looks at political decision making and I am 
looking for participants. I found your information on a list of classes 
being taught on campus over the summer semester and so your students 
would make excellent candidates.

             Attached is a flyer detailing the purpose, compensation, 
duration, and location (information about the study is also pasted 
below). I would appreciate it if you could forward this document to your 
students so that those who might be interested in my study could learn

Eye Movements and Political Decision Making

Participants wanted for an eye-tracking study on political decision making.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how people make 
political decisions

Eligibility: Participants must be adults 18 years of age or older

Benefits: You may benefit by gaining some knowledge about psychological 
research, both from the experience of participating and from the 
debriefing period following each session where the hypothesis of the 
study will be explained.

Compensation: In return for your participation, you will receive $15.  
If you withdraw from the study, your payment will be pro-rated to 
reflect the proportion of the study that you complete at a rate of $2.50 
for every 15 minutes (rounded up—e.g., if you withdraw after 34 minutes, 
it is treated as 45 minutes, so you will get paid $7.50).

Duration: The study will take 90 minutes to complete.

Location: OSU Campus (Journalism Building, 242 W 18th Ave)
