Asian Pacific American Heritage Month has started and some great events continue through Spring semester.

Screening of Somewhere Between with Dr. Kimberly McKee
January 27, 2014, 4 pm, Ohio Union-Founders Room
Join Asian American Studies for a screening of Somewhere Between, a documentary about transracial adoptees, and discussion with Kimberly McKee, Visiting Professor Grinnell College.  Co-sponsored with Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority and the Multicultural Center

What's Going on in Asian America? An Interdisciplinary Showcase with Dr. Shelley Lee
January 29, 2014, 7 pm, Ohio Union-Traditions Room
Come join us as we showcase various works from faculty, community members, graduate and undergraduate students. Featured guest Dr. Shelley Lee will be discussing her new book A New History of Asian America and a featured panel will discuss topics that include refugee populations, cancer control and prevention, media portrayals of Indian Americans, migrant organization networks, and Asian American short films. Sponsored by GradPAC and Asian American Studies.
