[All-extension] Reminder - Open House for Vicki Schwartz

As many of you may know, Vicki Schwartz, Associate State 4-H Leader, will be retiring June 30. We are making plans to honor her in a manner befitting the great work that she has done for OSU Extension over the past 33 years. She no doubt has helped each and every office in the state with her risk management expertise.

At Vicki's request, in order to allow for many volunteers that she was associated with in Washington County to participate in her reception, we are planning to hold this Open House at the Southeast Region Extension Office in Belle Valley (Noble County). The event will be held on Friday, June 27 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. (see attached flier). The presentation will be at 4:30.

We ask that you send cards, letters, photos to the Southeast Region Office (address below) or email to Lee Ann @ johnson.82 at osu.edu<mailto:johnson.82 at osu.edu> or Vickie @ Snyder.252 at osu.edu<mailto:Snyder.252 at osu.edu>. If you wish to make a monetary donation towards the special gift, because we cannot purchase this item through University funds, we ask that checks be made payable to Bev Kelbaugh (please do not make checks payable to OSU). Bev will see that proper dispersal of funds is made. Proceeds over and above what is needed for her gift will be used to help pay towards Vicki's lifetime membership in NAE4-HA, ESP or donated to the 4-H Space Adventure Camp or Camp Hervida endowment funds (programs that are near and dear to her heart).

We would like to have the donations and mementos prior to June 13. Also, please RSVP to johnson.82 at osu.edu<mailto:johnson.82 at osu.edu> by June 13 (for ordering cake and refreshments).
