About SADS | |
Students Supporting People with Down Syndrome is a student organization at The Ohio State University, founded in January 2012. The purpose of SSPDS is to heighten awareness, educate students, and advocate on behalf of individuals with Down syndrome and their families, while incorporating volunteerism. SSPDS will also provide campus-wide information about research, training, and service activities. SSPDS works closely with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio as well as the Nisonger Center.
