[Sc-aquaponics] Monitoring of an Aquaponics System

Brothers and Sisters of the List Serve;
I am using an Arduino processor, (but a Raspberry Pi could even work
better?) to monitor our System. Temperature and flow are monitored.
Temperature is logged for knowledge and historical purposes. Eventually
will add pH probe and maybe way in the future, because of the cost, add
dissolved oxygen probe. Alarming can be done over the internet, (email or
phone) inexpensively. This would would also be a great project for a new
Computer Science student to work in conjunction with the group who is doing
the Aquaponics.
