<div dir="ltr">Brothers and Sisters of the List Serve;<div>I am using an Arduino processor, (but a Raspberry Pi could even work better?) to monitor our System. Temperature and flow are monitored. Temperature is logged for knowledge and historical purposes. Eventually will add pH probe and maybe way in the future, because of the cost, add dissolved oxygen probe. Alarming can be done over the internet, (email or phone) inexpensively. This would would also be a great project for a new Computer Science student to work in conjunction with the group who is doing the Aquaponics.</div>

Here at Piketon, we use phone dialers with sensors on the water pumps and airlines, but this is too expensive for them (around $600.00). They are not using supplemental oxygen, so they would like to monitor water flow from the pump, is it on or off. Any ideas as to how to do this inexpensively?<br>
