[Pond-management-news] Eugene's open "office" hours coming to an end

Friends,

It was great to start. In spring 2020, I launched my open "office" hours via Zoom in response to COVID exile from my office and its desk phone. Spanning that spring-fall, I received a great deal of traffic and really enjoyed serving you through that connection. Since, software updates now forward office calls via Skype to my work computer wherever it happens to be plugged in, travel restrictions are relaxing and I'm increasingly free to visit sites in the field (with the caveat that my travel budget isn't what it once was), etc. Tuesday afternoon traffic has resultantly dwindled to naught. I've gone a few weeks now with no participants. I think I may have had three or four clients log on during advertised hours during the whole span of summer 2021, never more than one on any given Tuesday. Thus, chaining myself to Zoom for two unproductive hours every Tuesday is beginning to feel-well-unproductive.

Fear not! I am going to maintain my Zoom "office space" into the foreseeable future. I just won't be tending it for regular hours each week. This means that the "space" will be open to you at any time that your and my schedules coincide (even potentially on weekends, etc.), only now only by appointment. Drop a line either using this e-mail address or phoning 614-292-3823 if you'd like to make an appointment to discuss your pond/lake issues via Zoom. (Of course, you're also welcome to simply discuss those issues directly via phone or e-mail.) The advantage of Zoom is it will allow you to show me (and vice versa) specimens, sites (if your device is portable and equipped with a camera), images, videos, etc. in real time. The disadvantage of Zoom is that it will now require an appointment to use.

Those who live in communities with homeowners associations that manage residential ponds or private lakes, be aware that I can also use this platform for your committees to meet and discuss related issues en masse, can use this as a medium to offer formal presentations to your groups, etc. Whatever would serve you and your pond/lake, I am here to provide that service.

Etc.

And be well out there.

Eugene
