Funding for service-learning course development
The Office of Service-Learning is now accepting applications for the 2018 Service-Learning Course Development Grants. These grants of up to $4,000 each support the development and enrichment of service-learning courses. Applications are due Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

Albert Schweitzer Fellowships available

Community service-minded graduate and professional students are encouraged to apply for 2018-19 Columbus-Athens Albert Schweitzer Fellowships. Fellows partner with community organizations on year-long service projects to address social and health-related needs in Franklin and Athens Counties. Attend an information session Tuesday, January 9, 4-5 p.m. in the Research Commons, 18th Ave. Library. Apply by Tuesday, February 13. Please share with your students who may be interested.

ESC 2018 call for proposals announced

The Engagement Scholarship Consortium seeks proposals for presentations on engaged scholarship in higher education, including research findings, innovative design and partnership models, proven community/institutional impacts, effective modes of community-engaged learning curricula, collaborative policy development and integration, and/or successful civic engagement practices. Deadline to submit is Friday, March 16, 2018.

IARSLCE 2018 Conference call for proposals announced
The International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement has announced that proposals are now being accepted for their 2018 conference in New Orleans, LA.  The conference will take place July 18-20 with the theme Just Research: Inclusivity and Intersectionality.  Proposals are due by Friday, January 19.
