Funding for faculty, staff, and student engagement
The Connect and Collaborate Grants Program incentivizes faculty, staff, students, and their community partners to submit letters of intent for programs that have the potential to catalyze engaged, collaborative teaching and research activities benefitting the community and university.  Grants up to $70,000 are available.  Letters of intent are due Friday, Sept. 29.  An information session will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 11am in the Research Commons.

Pen to Paper 2017 Writing Retreat registration now open
The Pen to Paper writing retreat focused on writing with, for, and about service and engagement will take place November 9-11, at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY.  Registration for this unique opportunity to focus on your engagement scholarship with a cohort of peers, while fostering personal connections with journal editors and senior faculty coaches, is open now.

Last chance to register for the Engagement Scholarship Consortium Conference
Registration is now open for the 2017 Engagement Scholarship Consortium (ESC) Conference to be held in Birmingham, Alabama this fall.  Pre-conference activities and workshops will take place September 24-25, and the main conference will be September 26-27.  This year's conference theme is: This is Engagement: Best Practices in Community-Engaged Scholarship.
