2016 Service-Learning Course Development Grants Deadline Extended!
Were you thinking of submitting an application to our course development grant program, but need extra time?  Good news!  We're extending the deadline to submit an application until Wednesday, February 17th.

2016 University Outreach and Engagement Recognition Awards Now Accepting Applications
The Offices of Outreach and Engagement, International Affairs, Service-Learning, Student Life, and Undergraduate Education have joined together to recognize faculty, staff, students, and community partners with the University Outreach and Engagement Recognition Awards program.  Awards will be given in the community engagement, international engagement, service-learning, staff, student, student group, and community partner categories.  A total of $21,000 will be awarded.  Applications are due Feb. 16, 2016.

Call for Submissions: Scholarship on Service-learning and Community Engagement
The International Journal of Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IJRSLCE) is currently accepting manuscripts for consideration for the fourth issue of the journal to be published in fall 2016.  IJRSLCE is the annual, peer-reviewed, online journal of the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE).  Its mission is to disseminate rigorous scholarship on service-learning and community engagement, including research, theory, research reviews, and book reviews.  They are seeking articles from different countries and disciplines and representing a range of methodologies including community-engaged scholarship to represent the breadth of scholarship in the field.  Submission deadline is April 15, 2016.

Georgia Tech's Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain is Hiring

Georgia Tech is looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial service-learning professional to help shape the direction of their new, campus-wide Serve-Learn-Sustain initiative bringing together sustainability and community engagement.  The Associate or Assistant Director position will aim to transform the culture of a major technological institute and establish best practices for university engagement in some of the most challenging issues of our time.
