Graduate Student Study

The University of Minnesota is currently seeking publicly-engaged graduate students to participate in an online survey for a study on graduate student motivations for public engagement.  If you are a publicly-engaged graduate student at a U.S. university, please consider participating in this study to further the understanding of motivations of the publicly-engaged graduate student population.  The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes and must be completed by April 30, 2015.

IARSLCE Webinar - Five Distinct Components of Global Service-Learning: Framing a Research Agenda

The second webinar in IARSCLCE's new Advancing Research Webinar Series takes place on May 19 at 1pm and focuses on global service-learning.  Eric Hartman and Richard Kiely, co-founders of globalsl.org, will share their understanding of the distinctive characteristics of the field of global service-learning, clarify the theoretical roots of these characteristics, and share reflection regarding promising opportunities for current and future research.  Ample space for dialogue and discussion on the field of global service-learning will be part of the webinar.  This webinar is free, but space is limited.
