Ohio State Service-Learning News

The Service-Learning Initiative is Out and About We're excited to share that we'll be participating in several Ohio State events to promote service-learning in the coming months. This week, we'll be at the Diversity Leadership Symposium<http://extensionhr.osu.edu/diversity/Symposium/symposiuminformation2.html> to learn about student perspectives on cultural transformation through service-learning. On May 11th, we'll be at the Academy of Teaching's mini-conference<http://academy.osu.edu/events/mini-conf.html> to discuss the S-designation and the quarter to semester conversion. We hope we'll see you somewhere on campus!

Service-Learning in this month's Outreach and Engagement Newsletter The latest issue of Ohio State's Outreach and Engagement newsletter features some excellent service-learning content. Learn about architecture students making a difference in Linden Village, service-learning courses being highlighted for Columbus's bicentennial, and more (see below). Service-Learning Course Spotlight
In order to help faculty and students make connections to upcoming service-learning courses, we will seek to spotlight a unique service-learning course in each newsletter.
