Not at all anymore - we are on Centos 7.3, which made OOD setup a slight hassle since the apache and shibboleth packages required weren't the default system ones (though available).
We're moving to 7.5 across our production systems in the next month or two, so it will be a complete non-issue for us.

Do you use CentOS6/RHEL6 for Open OnDemand? How problematic would it be for you if Open OnDemand dropped support for CentOS6/RHEL6?
Currently we use the Phusion Passenger application server (https://www.phusionpassenger.com/) and they having an open discussion on whether or not to continue
supporting RHEL6:

Your feedback on your use of CentOS6/RHEL6 will be helpful when I go to comment on this issue. FWIW OSC is using both RHEL6 and RHEL7 for OnDemand but soon will switch to just RHEL7.
Thanks,
Eric
