Do you use CentOS6/RHEL6 for Open OnDemand? How problematic would it be for you if Open OnDemand dropped support for CentOS6/RHEL6?
Currently we use the Phusion Passenger application server (https://www.phusionpassenger.com/) and they having an open discussion on whether or not to continue supporting RHEL6: https://blog.phusion.nl/2018/09/18/considering-dropping-rhel6-debian-7-and-ruby-1-8-support/ and have invited Passenger users to contribute to the discussion.
Your feedback on your use of CentOS6/RHEL6 will be helpful when I go to comment on this issue. FWIW OSC is using both RHEL6 and RHEL7 for OnDemand but soon will switch to just RHEL7.
Thanks,
Eric
