Hi Shawn,

There is no configuration option to disable file downloads from the Files App. You would have to fork the project and make edits to the code directly. Although by completely disabling file downloading from OnDemand you also in-turn lose the ability to view and edit files.

Is there a particular reason you wouldn't want users to be able to access files through OnDemand? There may be alternative solutions if we had a better understanding of the requirements.

Subject: [OOD-users] Disable File Downloads?

Is it possible to disable file downloads from the file explorer? I'm experimenting with this for a somewhat secure mini-cluster where outside ssh, scp is disabled. Users will have to go thru OOD in order to get a shell, launch aps, etc and I would like to disable downloading.

If not possible directly thru the app, as a temporary solution I guess I could just block that portion of the API url in the web server...
