[OOD-users] Is DEFAULT_SSHHOST being honored by shell app?

Actually... it does NOT work as expected--so the problem is likely in
the host environment and NOT OnDemand.

I didn't consider the possibility.  Given that tidbit, it became
apparent that there's an improper setting in my /etc/ssh/ssh_config.

Thanks for the timely & insightful advice.
