Another opportunity from the Belin-Blank Center:

We are back in person this summer for the Belin-Blank Fellowship!  This program isn’t for you—this is designed for those who don’t already have a background in gifted education, and we ask your help for get this announcement to the right people!



The Connie Belin & Jacqueline N. Blank Fellowship Program in Gifted Education has welcomed hundreds of classroom teachers, librarians, school counselors, educational psychologists, and administrators since 1981.



The Summer 2022 Fellowship—the 42nd year—will be held June 20 - 24 on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City.



While we will consider all applicants, for the first time, we are prioritizing teacher leaders / instructional coaches, knowing they promote best practices for all your staff to implement.



Designed for those with little or no background in gifted education, the Fellowship allows participants to

✓ live on campus for a week;

✓ collaborate with others who share their commitment to learning about gifted and talented learners;

✓ develop deeper understanding of research-based strategies that facilitate authentic talent development among gifted students.

Selection of the twelve (12) Belin-Blank Fellows is based on

(Applicants will see that the applications and statements of support have two different links.)



The Fellowship includes

✓ cost of room & board;

✓ university resources (including Wi-Fi and access to the online University of Iowa library); and

✓ nationally recognized experts in the field of gifted education.



School districts provide a $250 resource fee.
