[Ohiogift] UDL

UDL is really designed to make learning accessible to kids who might be challenged for some reason or another. There are some components that resonate with gifted learners (interest opportunities, some executive functioning strands), but implementing UDL should not be considered sufficient for meeting the needs of gifted learners. It neglects things like pace and depth in a manner needed for gifted learners.

ODE used to have a document about UDL and gifted on their site, but, to be honest, it didn’t say much of anything.
