Free Project-based Learning Professional Learning Community
PBLMatters is proud to announce a series of free Project-based Learning Professional Learning Community sessions that are available to any educator anywhere in the country. All sessions are facilitated by emeritus PBLWorks National Faculty, many of whom have authored project-based learning books on the featured topics. Each Professional Learning Community session is a combination of a presentation and an opportunity for participants to engage with each other and the expert facilitator. Sessions are held from 7-8 p.m. EST on Wednesday evenings. One contact hour per session is available. There also is an opportunity to earn graduate credit through Ashland University for an additional fee of $249 for those attending at least eight of the sessions. The 2021 Ohio Education Technology Conference has gone virtual and registration is complimentary this year. The conference will offer both live and on-demand content from February-June 2021. What's Working Webinar
The Dayton Regional STEM School and the Ohio STEM Learning Network will be hosting a What's Working Webinar on February 17th from 3:30-4:30pm. During this breakout room centered webinar, participants will engage in discussion with colleagues from across Ohio to share wins from the classroom and gain insight, strategies, and resources to engage students. STEMthusiasts
The Past Foundation, ESCCO, the Central Ohio Hub of the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN), and additional partners are hosting forums focused on sharing STEM best practices in all learning environments.
