[Ohiogift] Mensa Qualification Test - February 18, Kettering

Everyone: The location of the Mensa test (detailed below) is in Kettering, a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. It is conveniently located near interstates in western/southwestern Ohio:

Dorothy Lane, Kettering.  It’s across from the Community GolfCourse. The test takes about two hours. Test takers should arrive and sign in15-20 minutes before start time. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated oncetesting has started. Those who score in the top two per cent of the generalpublic on either of two tests of logic and reasoning will be invited to joinMensa.  Face masks covering the nose and mouthwill be required at all times while inside the building, and safe socialdistancing will be maintained at all times. A maximum of six test takers can beaccommodated and pre-registrants will have priority. If you can’t wear a mask,we may be able to schedule you for a test after the public health situationimproves. As one public health expert said, “The virus is in charge.” Forinformation about testing or to pre-register, contact the Testing Coordinator, testing at dayton.us.mensa.orgor 937-546-7885.  American Mensa is not for profit but mustcover expenses including paying for the right to use a copyrighted test. For atest administered by a local group’s volunteer proctor the national officecharges $60 to evaluate and report the candidate’s test results. Persons 14 years old but less than 18 musthave a parent or guardian sign for permission to take the test, although theparent/guardian need not be present during the testing session. We can providethe permission form in advance upon request and they will be available at thetesting session. The test Mensa uses is not valid for persons under 14 years ofage, who may qualify by other means. The non-languagetests are given only by individual appointment.
