Everyone:

October is an especially important time for many college-bound students, as this is the time to explore the government-sponsored program known as FAFSA. Students preparing to enter college complete the application for financial aid that FAFSA provides, and for many, the October process can help lower-income students to lessen their concerns over finances as they transition into the world of college education.

Two internet addresses (URLs) seen below are starting points. This reminder will help students and their parents or guardians who visit those addresses master this initial step. The first provides a solid, instructive A-to-Z overview of what FAFSA is and how it helps students and their families. The second is the official FAFSA address, which can help answer your questions on all things FAFSA. And if you need extra help, you can search the site or contact them directly. Please pay attention to deadlines as you complete your FAFSA form.
