July 17 deadline for P-EBT data submission, new information about remote learning attendance and updates about educator evaluation systems 
Deadline to submit data for P-EBT cards is Friday, July 17 Immediate responses are needed to help eligible families receive Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) cards. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and Ohio Department of Education need schools’ assistance to ensure all children who are eligible to receive this benefit are able to do so. (If your school does not participate in the National School Lunch Program, please disregard this message.) ODJFS and the Ohio Department of Education are receiving calls from families who, to date, have not received the P-EBT cards but feel they should have. Should you determine you have eligible students who were not included in the initial data submission due to accidental omission or if a student appears on the file sent to ODJFS but his or her address has changed, send this additional information to ODJFS either through your ITC or directly by close of business Friday, July 17. This will ensure your families still will be able to receive P-EBT cards. Send only the updated data, please do not resend the full student file.  We appreciate your cooperation with this process to ensure families receive this important benefit. Please refer to this important information when planning your attendance policies for remote learning. New Ohio Teacher Evaluation System updates for 2020-2021 school year The coronavirus-related school-building closure required schools and educators to make adjustments surrounding educator evaluation systems. As schools plan for the 2020-2021 school year, new information has been posted to the Ohio Department of Education webpage to assist educators in planning for evaluations, as well as implementation of the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System 2.0. Please refer to the Educator Evaluation Systems section of the Ohio Department of Education’s Reset and Restart webpage.
