[Ohiogift] Creativity in Ohio Schools Survey

Dear Educator:

I hope this email finds you happy and healthy! I am writing to you to ask
for a few minutes of your time to complete a survey about gifted
identification and service in Ohio for “Creative Thinking Ability” for a
research project I am working on. A link to the online survey is here:

The survey is 19 questions (checkboxes and short answer) and should take no
more than 15 minutes to complete. In addition, I would appreciate if you
would forward the survey to any K-12 staff (including general education and
special education teachers, administrators, counselors, school
psychologists, etc.) who might be willing to complete it.

This is a preliminary survey to help me to understand how the Ohio law for
identifying and serving giftedness in Creative Thinking Ability is being
interpreted and manifested in districts. Once I compile this survey
information,
I plan to invite GIS endorsed teachers to participate in a venture called
“The Creativity Project,” where we review the literature and the
survey information,
and create lessons and support documents to integrate creativity thoughtfully
into the K-12 classroom. The focus will be on gifted students, but as you
can imagine, all students will benefit.

Thank you in advance for your assistance with this fascinating project! And
please feel free to forward this email on to any K-12 staff or
administrator who might be interested in filling it out. I am interested in
having a wide variety of voices - those who work with gifted and those who
do not, counselors, school psychologists, special education teachers, Title
teachers, visual and performing arts specialists.
