Calm/Assertive Academy
July 23-25, 2018
This three-day conference will teach educators procedures and strategies for building relationships with kids (no matter how tough they are), creating ownership of the classroom, and for sharing control with students on your terms so they don’t try to take it on theirs. These procedures will have consequences for kids who do not follow the procedures woven into the fabric of the procedure itself. The conference will be hands-on and interactive. In short, you will walk out of this conference with lesson plans for the first three weeks of school that will set the stage for a successful school year!

Kid Whisperer University
August 1-3, 2018
Scott Ervin, The Kid Whisperer, will teach you The Nine Essential Skills for the Love and Logic Classroom ™ including how to neutralize argument, delay consequences, utilize empathy, utilize the recovery process, build positive relationships, utilize choices to prevent power struggles, utilize enforceable statements, utilize quick and easy interventions, and guide kids to own and solve their own problems. These strategies are simple and get results. They are applicable for both teachers and parents! **This is an Ohio Approved training. Additionally, participants can earn one Graduate Level PD credit through Brandman University.
