[Ohiogift] Math proficiency

Friends:

The New York Times had a recent article about math proficiency and
improving scores, etc., for K-12 students, and based on this prowess by
Shanghai students, British officials are considering use of those
(translated) math textbooks.

Certainly we can learn from the academic practices of others, not to
mention their cultural differences. Perhaps this understanding can augment
gifted practices in Ohio.
