[Ohiogift] EMIS reporting for a subject accelerated student

I just had an interesting call from a principal who asked this question:


"If a student is subject accelerated in reading, and does NOT pass the state test, how do you code that student in EMIS next year so he/she can take that same test next year?"


If anyone has dealt with this before, or has insight into such a situation, please let me know.
