Summer Professional Development

OAGC is pleased to announce summer professional development to classroom
teachers to be held on June 27 and 28 in Worthington, Ohio. The two day
session will include fifteen hours of training on the first year of the
recommended OAGC HQPD sequence. Space is limited, so please register soon.

Fall Conference

OAGC is finalizing the OAGC program for October 15 - 17, 2017. Our
keynoters will be Dr. James Webb and Ian Byrd. Along with these amazing
keynoters, we will have many excellent small sessions. To register or make

Advocacy

State Budget Moves to the Senate

The Ohio House voted the state budget out this week. The Ohio Senate will
now hold hearings. OAGC will provide regular updates on the progress of the
state budget through June 30th.

State Superintendent's Committee on Assessments

The State Superintendent's Committee on Assessments continues to meet. For

OAGC You Tube Live Advocacy Event

The OAGC Parent Division has rescheduled a [4]YouTube LIVE event
to May 15th at 7 pm. Come learn from parents and professionals who will
share their powerful tips on advocating for your gifted child. You may post
questions during the event directly on YouTube or elsewhere on social media
