[Ohiogift] Reminder: early bird deadine for the Belin-Blank Advanced Leadership Institute (A Nation Empowered: Research-Based Evidence about Acceleration)

Dear Colleagues:

The early bird registration deadline for the Seventh Biennial Belin-Blank Advanced Leadership Institute, A Nation Empowered: Research-Based Evidence about Acceleration, is rapidly approaching (July 8).  This is such an important topic for gifted students, and the Institute is the best possible place to focus on the specifics of implementing one or more of the multiple accelerative options for students-and how to advocate for different policies in your school, district, or even state!

We have various registration options for this event:

Early Individual Registration (by July 8) is $250 (after July 8, $295)  (online at http://www2.education.uiowa.edu/belinblank/Educators/BBALI/Registration.aspx)

Early Group Registration is $225 per person-you do NOT need to represent the same school or district, although perhaps this would be a way to encourage your school counselor or an administrator to join you-you just need to submit the group registration forms together (http://www2.education.uiowa.edu/belinblank/Educators/BBALI/Registration.aspx).

If you are a student, earning your endorsement, for example, and taking other credits, you can take advantage of special student pricing:  http://www2.education.uiowa.edu/belinblank/Educators/BBALI/docs/2016/B-BALI_STUDENT_Reg_2016.pdf.
