   Benjamin Logan Local Schools has an immediate opening for afull-time gifted intervention specialist for the 2016-2017 school year.? Weare seeking qualified candidates who are flexible and self-directed, use datato make decisions regarding instruction, have a willingness and ability to planand develop new educational initiatives for gifted students, and use technologyfor teaching and learning in various classroom environments.


Applicant must have valid Gifted Educationcertification/licensure in the State of Ohio. May consider applicants that areeligible for a supplemental gifted license for an endorsement already inprogress (minimum of 6 semester hours of credit toward gifted endorsementalready completed and pursuit of endorsement ongoing and in consecutivesemesters.) ? STEM experience preferred. Position?may include opportunitiesfor resource room environments for gifted children and co-teaching inclassrooms with gifted learners at elementary and/or middle school levels.
