Everyone:
The "window" for FAFSA financial aid applications is upon us, and that means high-ability students, especially those with modest financial resources, should get their applications under way. (Those students and their families also can and should check out other options with finacial aid, of course.) (Also, the FAFSA window next school year will begin in October, rather than January, which gives applicants even greater opportunity to line up aid.)
These not-for-profit Websites should help with the FAFSA process:https://fafsa.ed.gov/
http://www.finaid.org/
http://www.finaid.org/fafsa/fafsa.phtml
https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa
https://fafsa.ed.gov/options.htm
https://professionals.collegeboard.org/guidance/financial-aid/applications/fafsa
http://financialaidtoolkit.ed.gov/tk/learn/fafsa.jsp
https://www.salliemae.com/plan-for-college/financial-aid/fafsa/fafsa-application/

The above sites offer thorough explanations of the financial aid process, with lots of helpful links, a video or two, and other help.
Good luck to all.Jessie R. Willson
