The American Historical Association has just issued a statement on dual credit programs following a spirited discussion of these programs carried out online and in its newsletter.

    High School Principals and Districts must: 

"Designate sections of history classes that are exclusively for dual enrollment students—students may not gain DE credit by simply taking a [high school] history class and paying tuition"
