Advocacy Alert10.20.15 – Warning: ODE Gifted Rule Survey Question Bias  -- As many of you are aware, ODE has opened upa survey to gather input on the proposed new gifted rule. Unfortunately, thesurvey questions are highly skewed to elicit what appears to be a pre-determinednarrative on the proposed rule. Gifted advocates should not fall into the “trap”set by the questions in this survey. OAGC will post a guideline on how to avoidthis in the next 24 hours. The deadline to receive input is November 6th,at 5:00 pm. There is time to provide both accurate input as well as to continueto write members of the state board. Stay tuned.
