A new book entitled Restoring Sanity to the Classroom: Eliminating the Testing Mania has just been published, and it covers all the contentious aspects of tests upon tests, ad nauseum, in today's classrooms. Comments are from sources like former education official Diane Ravitch, and topics include NCLB, Common Core, adequate yearly progress, and other (sometimes) farcical aspects of testing and reporting "progress."
