[Ohiogift] Math testing for MS advanced courses

[Gifted and Talented in Ohio Discussion List]

Which test(s) do you use to determine student placement recommendations for Middle School students prior to taking high school level Math coursework in the MS, such as Algebra or Geometry?  Which tests seem to be good predictors of student success in these courses?  Do you give the assessments to all students?
