We have been using GiftedWerks (now Assist 360) for several years. The program is now web-based and is very user friendly (once you have been trained) Developers are also very willing to customize to best meet our needs. We have all of our testing data uploaded easily (we test through Riverside Publishing and also our OAA data in CSV format). All of our letters are also within the program for notification, permission, as well as cover letters for WEP/WAP etc. All have merge fields that I appreciate to include student names, scores, dates, and ID. Each students assessment history/letters/ identifications/WEP-WAPs are all stored within this system and can be accessed at anytime. I have found it extremely helpful when speaking with parents to pull up their child’s assessment history immediately. Hope this helps!

I am also very interested in this information or in any other gifted data management options that districts may find useful.

We have been using a program that was developed by PDS (Roy Gordon, Professional Development Systems). He worked with us to develop a customized WEP that works great as well as a letter system; however, I am in need of better reports, the ability to more easily import assessment data, to do WAPs, and the capacity to upgrade as more changes come down from the State. It is my understanding that no future updates are planned for our current software.

Are there any other options available? Thank you!

I'm looking for some feedback to determine the advantages/disadvantages of Assist 360 (formerly GiftedWerks) and SameGoal's IEP Anywhere for gifted data management and WAP/WEP development. Anyone care to share? Thanks!
