Yes I am.

The logic then follows... (in terms of cognitive abilities)  " while it may
not seem offensive to use the term "GIFTED" it means we also refer to
others as "NOT GIFTED."  Are you prepared to look into the face of a child
or the parent and tell them the child is "NOT GIFTED?"   We cannot have one
without its reverse.

Again, Yes I am.... Otherwise we will have NO gifted.  (and no I DON"T say
that to children, I talk to them about what they ARE good or even gifted
at[music, art , sports - just not academics ];  but we do say it to parents
[politely] in testing results letters)

Remembering articles about pushing gifted students toward the mean.
