Professor Joan Freeman, a friend of mine, has replied to Rosemond's
profligate quoting of her--.

Jane - it is incredible how people interpret others' words to suit their
own purposes.  What absolute rubbish.  I never said any such thing.  It is
due to a great variety of reasons that not all gifted children grow up to
be gifted adults - a pretty well known fact.
