[Ohiogift] Ipad - Ipod - Check List App for Asperger Studenst????

Good Morning,

I have several Id'd Gifted students who could benefit by using some sort of a checklist several times per day. I'm not interested in the useful but juvenile, brightly colored, laminated cards we often see.

I went to the “app store” and downloaded what looks (to me a novice) like a useful [and free] checklist app.

However, before suggesting, to parents, something something that LOOKS like it would work, I thought I’d ask what apps that DO WORK well with gifted students, that others are using.

I use an iPad, but don't know whether most students have an iPod or iPhone instead, and whether that would matter when choosing an app. If so, I'd be happy to hear suggestions for all.

Thanks

Hoping you have a great day,

Mark

Subject: [Ohiogift] Mensa Benefits

I was recently asked by parents of two highly gifted children (both have been grade accelerated) if I could tell them the benefits for their children of belonging to Mensa. I could not answer the question as I am familiar with the organization but have no personal experience with it. I told them I would ask members of this group for any thoughts about this topic.

Thanks for any assistance!
