Dear Regional Bat Working Groups,

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Bat Survey Guidelines Team has kept busy over the past year while analyzing new data and has prepared several updates to the Service’s bat survey guidelines. We owe a special thank you to our USGS partners particularly Dr. Mark Ford and Dr. Emily Thorne (now with NPS) for their ongoing technical support and assistance with statistical analyses.

Likewise, please send any project-specific survey-related questions you may have to a biologist in our local FWS Field Office and they can provide further technical assistance.
