Hi Marne

I sent Erin and email about monitoring some bat boxes in Prairie Township since she took over for Sarah at ODNR. I did not even know Sarah has left. Erin asked me to contact you as you may be able to send out a message through OBWG. This is the message I sent to Erin.

About 4-5 years ago Prairie Township installed eight pole boxes in a stream restoration project. I would like to find seven people who are interested in going out and check these eight poles. I would get permission from Prairie Township but do not think that will be a problem as they told me a few years ago that they are interested if bats have moved in.

This is just outside of town on the west side off West Broad Street. I think there is enough parking but we may want to enter from two locations as there is a stream going down through the field separating the boxes. I do know a spot where I have crossed but it will depend on water depth at that time.

Do you think it is possible to get seven volunteers who would like to help?
