Subject: [cbwg] seeking SMX-U1 microphone for SM2BAT detector

Hi all,

I am urgently seeking to procure an SMX-U1 microphone (compatible with Wildlife Acoustics SM2BAT detector) to use in an active field study.

I've had bat acoustic detectors deployed continuously since October as part of my graduate dissertation research. Unfortunately, I discovered one of the microphones failed during my March field check and that means one of my five field sites is out of commission until I can find a replacement. I am unable to order a new one from the company because they have suspended their physical operations until at least May 4 due to covid-19.

Can you please let me know if you have a compatible microphone that you would be willing to sell or lend me while Wildlife Acoustics' operations are shut down?

If for some reason you'd rather sell me an entire detector unit with mic instead, we might also be able to work something out there. I do specifically need it be an SM2BAT unit though because the mic that failed is paired with another SM2BAT detector that is secured at treetop at the site.
